Johnny Depp looked unrecognizable as a light-eyed silver fox on the set of his upcoming film, Day Drinker, over the weekend.
According to Page Six, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is making his return to Hollywood as a "mysterious guest" aboard a yacht in the Marc Webb-directed thriller, and he looks nothing like his usual self.
The 61-year-old standout, who typically sports curly, medium-length, brown locks, is seen in set photos (obtained by the outlet) with sweeping silver hair and a salt-and-pepper beard. Depp's appearance is also altered with colored contact lenses, giving the illusion that his eyes are bright blue instead of his typical brown.
In the photo, the Edward Scissorhands icon is wearing a suit that covers the tattoos drawn across his arms and is ominously looking into the distance with a drink in his hand in broad daylight, hence the title.
According to IMDB, Day Drinker follows the story of "an enigmatic stranger [that] forms an unlikely bond with a grieving bartender who lost her lover, their lives intertwining in unexpected ways."
Depp stars alongside Madelyn Cline and Penèlope Cruz, to name only a few actors making the thriller everything fans hope it will be in time for its completion in 2026.
