It's cold and flu season which means it's time to stock your medicine cabinet and remember a few tips and tricks in case you come down with something. Ryan Seacrest shared in today's hack if you're not feeling well, avoid these foods:

CANNED SOUP: Very high in sodium which causes inflammation.

TOAST: It’s good if you’re nauseous, but it will irritate a sore throat.

SPORTS DRINKS: The sugar will increase inflammation and reduce the ability for white blood cells to function effectively.

Instead, eat eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, and nuts.
