Tate McRae joined Ryan Seacrest on-air today to talk about her new song "greedy," which is out now.
The "she's all i wanna be" singer talked about how she grew from her song "you broke me first" until her new track. "I released "you broke me first" when I was 16 and the difference between 16 and 20, I feel like you live 10 different lives in between that period of time. I just feel like a completely different person" Tate told Seacrest. "I also released that song in the pandemic. I didn't even know I wanted to be a singer yet."

Because she was stuck in the house during her first release, her and her family didn't really get to experience the fan reaction in real time, which is something she gets to do with "greedy" now. "This right now feels very surreal because in real time they're watching "greedy" being perceived at shows for the first time when it's been out for two weeks, so I think it's like actually feeling real for the first time and it's really special.
Plus she talks about being in Olivia Rodrigo's music video for "bad idea right?" and their close friendship.
