Adam Lambert is returning to American Idol! The season 8 alum shared with Ryan Seacrest he'll be back on hand to serve as a mentor during season 21.
"The talent this year is crazy!" Lambert teased. "[Contestants] are maybe savvier then they might have been [14 years ago.] ... I think these contestants are clever. They understand who and what they are."
