If you've watched the Olympics in the last few years, chances are you've come across some of Leslie Jones' live-tweets and recaps of the global competitions.

The former Saturday Night Live comedian's commentary during the Summer and Winter Games became a must-see and tradition, but Jones announced Monday (February 7) that it may all come to an end because of what she described as pressure from NBC.

"[I'm] starting to feel like this should be my last Olympics I live tweet," Jones wrote in a social media post, adding that she's "tired of fighting the folks who don't want me to do it. They block my videos and they get folks who think they can do it like me. And I'm tired of fighting them."

The Memphis native first made headlines with her organic and highly-relatable Olympics commentary back in 2016 at the Rio de Janeiro games and has been a hit ever since.

Jones' frustration and announcement has many fans wondering why the network isn't doing more to keep her around.

"It's just gotten too hard," she said, "and no one is fighting for or with me."

In a follow-up tweet, Jones called out NBC for thinking "they can replace me with just anyone."

Fans of Jones' commentary took to Twitter to let her know how iconic her sports insight has been to the Olympics experience.
