Ozzy Osbourne has unveiled the official music video for his song "It's A Raid," featuring Post Malone, just a week ahead of the one-year anniversary of the release of his Ordinary Man solo album.
The track is the second time Ozzy and Malone collaborated, the first time being on Malone's 2019 multi-format hit "Take What You Want."
The animated music video is a sensationalized depiction of the story behind the song, starring cartoon versions of both the heavy metal icon and the 25-year-old rapper.
Ozzy explained last spring in an interview with NME that the song was inspired by one of his more ludicrous drug-induced escapades: the time he got so high on cocaine that he accidentally called the police.
The incident in question occurred in 1972, while Black Sabbath was working on its Vol. 4 album in Bel Air.
"I'm sitting in the f---ing house and I've got a big f---ing bowl of cocaine on the f---ing table," he recalled. "...I was sitting there thinking: 'It's f---ing boiling in here.'
"So I press a button on the wall, thinking it's the air conditioning. Ten minutes later six cop cars come screaming down the driveway. It's the Bel Air patrol. I'd pressed the alarm button. So I shout: 'IT'S A RAID!', grab the f---ing dope and me and this roadie run into a back room. I've got the bowl of cocaine and I'm [shoveling it into my nose]."
In the "It's a Raid" music video, Ozzy and Malone lead police on a dramatic car chase, but in reality Ozzy got off much easier. After coming to the door, the officers determined there was no burglary taking place and they said goodbye without searching the premises.
"They said: 'It's alright, it was a false alarm.' I was f---ing gakked to the gills," Ozzy concluded. "I had to have a f---ing valium after to mellow me out."
