Are you ready for more Zoey 101?
On Monday (October 19), Jamie Lynn Spears announced the cast of Zoey 101 is set to reunite. The 29-year-old actress shared the exciting news on Instagram and tagged many of her former Nickelodeon co-stars, including Sean Flynn, Matthew Underwood and Erin Sanders, in the post. Her co-stars shared the same announcement on their own social media accounts, as well.
As of now, few details about the reunion are known. Spears and her co-stars shared the event will be called 'Follow Me (Zoey 101) See It First Experience' and revealed it will be a ticketed event. The ticket site describes the reunion as a "one-time only global livestream event." Should you choose to purchase one of the $20 tickets, you will be granted "an exclusive VIP premiere experience." This includes a "peek inside the time capsule where iconic worlds collide," according to the site. In addition to the cast of Zoey 101, Chantel Jeffries, JoJo Siwa, Dixie D'Amelio, Sofia Reyes and more celebrities will be participating in the live stream event.
Spears' announcement follows reports that Zoey 101 will get the reboot treatment at Nickelodeon. Back in 2019, TMZ reported Spears and Nickelodeon were in talks to revive the show. While the show's original run followed Zoey during her time as a high school student at Pacific Coast Academy, the revival would give fans a glimpse of Zoey's life ten years later. She'd reportedly have a couple kids and would still be living in California. TMZ's source claimed the vision for Zoey 101's revival would be "Zoey with an edge," though there were no further details on what, exactly, that means.
There hasn't been any confirmation that Zoey 101 will be rebooted just yet, however, the cast reunion will surely tide fans over in the meantime. The reunion will take place on October 25. Are you ready?
