Kristin Cavallari has decided to speak out further about her marriage to Jay Cutler and it’s not pretty.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, which is set to air on Monday (September 28), the former MTV reality star, 33, spoke about her decision to end her marriage to the former NFL player, 37, after seven years. "It was not an easy decision, obviously," Cavallari said. "It was something that I truly thought about every single day for over two years."
Cavallai went on to deem it "the hardest decision" that she's ever had to make, before referencing a life lesson that she learned from her mother, Judith Spies Eifrig. "But I don’t know, my mom used to say, ‘You’ll know when it’s time.’ I feel like that was true. I knew. And that’s that," she added.
Earlier this week, Cavallari broke her silence on the soured relationship in an interview with People. "I always thought it was interesting when people would refer to us as 'couple goals. I was like, 'If you guys only knew," she confessed. After getting married in 2013, the two made the shocking divorce announcement in April when they released a public statement via social media. Cavallari cited "marital misconduct" and "irreconcilable differences" as the reasonings. Despite a constant round of gossip blog rumors, the two had reportedly come to an amicable space for their three children: Camden, 8, and Jaxon, 6, and daughter Saylor, 4.
