So many first responders are selflessly risking their own lives to save others during the current coronavirus pandemic, and to honor them, iHeartRadio is teaming up with FirstNet, built with AT&T on a four-week tribute series hosted by Ryan Seacrest called "iHeartRadio's First Responder Fridays with FirstNet, Built with AT&T."
Every Friday, beginning April 17th through May 10th, Seacrest will ask iHeartRadio station listeners across the country, online, and through social media to share stories of how their lives have been positively impacted by first responders, including Police, Fire, EMS and Hospital Workers by using the hashtag #iHeartFirstResponders on social media and/or calling 1-833-3FRIDAYS. Additionally, On Air with Ryan Seacrest will flood the airwaves throughout the day on over 90 iHeartRadio stations across the US and on the iHeartRadio app with these personal messages of thanks from listeners, paying tribute to all first responders and health professionals.
Each of these day-long on-air tributes with conclude with a special performance from a superstar artist at 7pm on iHeartRadio CHR stations, as well as on iHeartRadio's YouTube channel and iHeartRadio's Facebook as they perform a 30-minute set of their biggest hits while also dedicating songs to first responders and their families, and it all kicks off on Friday, April 17th with Lewis Capaldi.
Tune in to listen to the first iHeartRadio First Responder Fridays with FirstNet built with AT&T with Lewis Capaldi on Friday, April 17th at 7pm ET on iHeartRadio's Hit Nation, and watch live via iHeartRadio's YouTube channel and iHeartRadio's Facebook page. Lewis' performance will also be available for 72 hours following the initial stream on iHeartRadio's YouTube.
iHeartRadio's First Responder Fridays with FirstNet Built with AT&T is meant to pay tribute to and recognize the amazing work of the individuals on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the series also seeks to help raise money for organizations who are supporting these heroes.
AT&T has made a $5.5 million commitment to feed first responders via their partnership with organizations including World Central Kitchen, Feeding America, Salvation Army, and Team Rubicon. And through iHeartRadio's First Responder Fridays, iHeartRadio and FirstNet hope to raise even more money by encouraging listeners/viewers to support these incredible organizations.
