Selena Gomez Releases 'Dance Again' Video, Merch Benefiting COVID-19 Relief

On Thursday (March 26), Selena Gomez surprise-dropped the video for the fan-favorite Rare track “Dance Again.”

“It feels a little strange releasing something so lighthearted in the middle of such a heavy time for our world, but I also think it’s a good reminder that we will get through this together,” the singer wrote on Instagram to her 171 million followers.

In the new video, a curly-haired Gomez dons a cream-colored satin dress as she lets loose to dance on a stage like nobody's watching. Gomez teased the look for the video back in February with a series of stunning IG selfies.

In addition to the carefree music video, Gomez released new merchandise that serves a very special purpose. “For every purchase of the new Dance Again merch in my store, a portion of proceeds will benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund,” she explained on social media.

Fans can pick up three different T-shirts including a yellow long sleeve tee and two short sleeve variations that feature photos from the video and the song title. Check them out here.

Earlier this week, the 27-year-old took part in the #SafeHands hand washing challenge on Instagram to spread awareness about health and hygiene during the coronavirus pandemic.

And just like other celebs, including Billie Eilish, Gomez turned to fostering a puppy while self-isolating. She later revealed she ended up falling in love with the pooch (named Daisy) and decided to keep her.
