When people watch Taylor Swift’s incredible video for “The Man," where she literally is transformed into a man, the first thing they ask is typically "Is that really her?” because the makeup is unbelievable.
She really truly looks like a guy.
The second question a lot of people are asking “Is she supposed to look like Jake Gyllenhaal?” Who she dated for a while in 2010.
Well if anybody should know, it’s legendary makeup artist Bill Corso, who designed Taylor’s entire look. And his answer is a firm no.
"I think she feels like someone different in every shot of the video," he tells Elle. "So I totally understand how people would draw conclusions."
He added that Taylor wanted something as far removed from her natural look as possible so the darker-haired prototype won out in the end.
