Taylor Swift ended the 2010s as the Artist of the Decade according to both the American Music Awards and Billboard. But if things had played out a bit differently she could have been known as something else, star of The Vampire Diaries.
According to Nina Dobrev, one of the actual stars of the hit TV show, it really almost happened.
"I remember at the very beginning, we heard that Taylor Swift was a fan of the show. And then the producers tried to write a role for her," she told E! News's Pop of the Morning. "It didn't work out schedule-wise obviously, she wasn't on the show."
But Nina thinks Taylor "would have been great."
It’s unclear if Taylor would have been a vampire, witch or werewolf, but considering her talents it’s doubtful she would have been cast as a plain old mortal.
