Megan Thee Stallion oozes confidence be it in her music, her dancing, her online presence or just her overall vibe, but that wasnโt always the case.
In fact, it wasnโt that long ago that she was pretty shy and thatโs according to Megan herself.
"Believe it or not, I used to be a little shy," she tells Rolling Stone. "I never wanted anybody to know that I could even rap. Even when I got to college and I told my best friend I could rap, sheโll be like, โOK. Well, then rap.โ She wanted me to rap and I wouldnโt do it. But then we went to a kickback and I just started rapping...I was confident in myself, but I didnโt really know how people would react."
Obviously, the reaction that night and ever since has been pretty positive.
Case in point, Pharrell is so impressed by her drive and skill that he has dubbed her Megan Thee Machine.
Meganโs next project, a full album, features tracks they made together and is expected to arrive this spring.
