The upcoming Britney Spears musical Once Upon a One More Time has found their Prince Charming.
The show will weave Britney’s songbook into a fairy tale setting similar to Broadway hits like Mama Mia!, which used ABBA’s music.
Scoring the co-lead role as the hunky prince is none other than American Idol’s season 1 runner up, Justin Guarini.
Justin might be best known for finishing second to Kelly Clarkson, but he’s got a solid Broadway resume with stints in Wicked, Green Day’s American Idiot, Romeo and Juliet and more.
The cast won’t have too long to nail everything down as the show begins its pre-Broadway run on April 14th in Chicago.
