Sister trio HAIM released their lead single "The Steps" and its accompanying video earlier this month off their upcoming album, which has a pretty interesting title, Women in Music Part III.
And Danielle Haim can take credit for coming up with the title while unconscious.
"The name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing so I told my sisters," she explained. โI liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way, so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative...It also made me think about some of our experiences more.โ
For the record, they also like that when abbreviated it reads as WIMP 3, just because they think wimp is a hilarious world.
Women in Music Part III is out everywhere on April 24th.
