Will Arnett can add another Lego brick to his resume! He already voices Batman in the Lego movie franchise, and now he hosts the new reality competition series Lego Masters and he phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, February 19 to talk about the new show and educate us on proper Lego terms.
Have we really been saying the plural of Lego wrong all these years?!
"The plural of Lego is Lego," Will says. "I found that out the hard way because I was with all these master builders...I've done three Lego movies, I've been in the Legoverse for a long time and I think I'm a real know it all...then I say 'Legos' and everybody looks at me like I've got brain damage. They're like 'What's wrong with you?'"
"We do these little bits every week where I kind of try to educate people on these little Lego terms that are in the Legoverse," he explains. "Meanwhile, I'm just learning it the first time myself. I act like an expert, but I'm just learning it too."
If you haven't seen the show, here's how it works!
Teams of Lego enthusiasts go head-to-head with an unlimited supply of Lego bricks and their creativity, "These people are artists combined with engineers," Will says. "We give them these competitions every week."
He gave us a sneak preview of tonight's episode, "I literally start cutting objects in half with a hacksaw and then they have to kind of extrapolate from there and build something cool. It's so rad. I'm blown away," Will gushes. "I wouldn't make it through the first round and I consider myself pretty good at Lego."
Listen back to the full interview above and catch Lego Masters Wednesday nights at 9/8c on FOX.
