The new James Bond theme song "No Time to Die" by Billie Eilish and produced by her brother Finneas arrived last week and it did not disappoint.
And while you might think given Billie’s immense popularity and critical acclaim the chance to record the title track for the 25th 007 movie was handed to her.
Turns out, that wasn’t the case. Finneas tells the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast:
"It's a legendary franchise so we had to convince a lot of people that we were the right choice...And then we had to write a song that everybody liked. So it was a hard-won process."
"We really wanted to do it. We just feel so lucky to be a part of it," he adds.
No Time to Die hits theaters April 10th, until then you can take a listen to Billie's theme song for the film below:
