The acclaimed TV show The West Wing famously told the story of an important wing of the White House centered around the president and his advisors.
But a new show will focus on the other side of the building, The East Wing, and somebody even closer to the president his wife.
Showtime has ordered a new drama called First Ladies with Viola Davis attached to star as Michelle Obama.
The first season will focus on Eleanor Roosevelt and Betty Ford as well, though who will play them has yet to be announced.
It’s unclear if each FLOTUS will have a single episode devoted to them in the anthology series or if their stories will somehow weave together through the season.
First Ladies is expected to go into production soon and will probably hit Showtime this fall.
