Camila Cabello had an emotional reaction looking back on her first album, two years later.

The “Living Proof” singer celebrated the second anniversary of her self-titled debut album this past Sunday (January 12). To honor the big occasion, the songbird took to Twitter with a heartfelt message of gratitude along with a video paying homage to her Camila era.

“It’s crazy looking at the girl in these videos, watching these performances and remembering how I felt in those moments - I remember being so scared in that first video but fighting through the knee, hands, and voice shaking with all I had- honestly watching these videos has left me kind of speechless and nostalgic in the best way," she wrote. "I will never forget these memories for as long as I live."

Cabello went on to thank her followers for making the album a success and a significant milestone of her career, recalling highlights like her performances at Lollapalooza and the 2019 Grammys, where she delivered her Grammy-nominated smash hit "Havana." To sign off, she concluded with, "I will never forget how grateful I am that you’ve literally made my dreams come true. I’ve wanted to do this ever since I can remember, and you’ve taken me on the wildest ride of my life."

Following its release in January 2018, Camila would go on to garner Cabello two Grammy nominations, including for Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance. In December 2019, the 22-year-old unveiled her sophomore album, Romance, which features the Shawn Mendes-assisted hit “Senorita,” a contender for Pop Duo/Group Performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.
