This past decade saw the rise of Instagram into one of the most powerful communication tools the world has ever seen and Kim Kardashian was undeniably one the leading social media influencers of the entire decade.
With New Year’s almost here and the dawn of a new era, Kim’s resolution is to actually scale back from posting selfies and sexy pics in particular.
She tells New York Magazine what led to her decision.
"I had this awakening myself. I just don’t care as much anymore to want to take tons of photos in a bikini," she says. "I actually just want to lay out. I don’t care to take the time out of my day on vacation like I used to, where I’d pull up to the house and I’d see, ‘This is a setup, this is an Instagram pic."
Adding, "Now I’m just like, ‘Let’s actually live in real time and enjoy it. If we happen to get a photo, great’.”
She also says her husband, Kanye West, expressed he’s sometimes uncomfortable with certain posts and she’s listened, but at the end of the day he leaves the choice up to her.
