Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande had quite a whirlwind romance in 2018 going from single to engaged to single again in about five months.
Pete has been pretty quiet about what led to their split, but now he seems to be hinting that it came down to him being all in, anytime he’s in love.
"If you're in a relationship with someone, you're just supposed to make that person feel as special as possible. But sometimes when you put so much on someone, it overwhelms them, and then they don't know if they could come close to that," he tells Paper Magazine. "So, it's very off-putting to some."
"It's something I had to learn in a past relationship, which sucked to learn through that person, but it makes you better," he adds.
All is well, as Pete’s now happily dating model Kaia Gerber.
