Pedro Pascal's Priceless Reaction to Being Cast as 'The Mandalorian'

Today one of the most hyped TV shows ever, the first ever live action Star Wars series The Mandalorian makes its debut on the equally anticipated brand new streaming service, Disney +, which also arrives today.

It stars Pedro Pascal in the biggest role of his career, playing a character that wears armor very similar to the legendary Star Wars character Boba Fett.

And that was all Pedro needed to know to lose his mind in excitement when he found out he was being considered for the role.

For starters, Boba Fett was Pedro's favorite action figure as child. So when he met with the show creators and walked into a room full of story illustrations of The Mandalorian, he was like "'What do you want me to do? Who am I go to be? Who do you want me to audition for? The bug? Or the Robot?." And then they told him they wanted him to be The Mandalorian.

When he got out of the meeting he called a friend screaming, "They want me to be — it's not Boba Fett, but it's like, you remember. They want me to be the coolest looking thing in Star Wars, you know?'"

The Mandalorian is just one of several incredible offerings on Disney + with tons of content from Marvel, Pixar, National Geographic and of course Disney itself.

All for just $6.99 a month. And best of all it’s all available today.
