Camila Cabello makes falling in love feel so easy with her newest single.
At the stroke of midnight (October 11), the songstress released a new record titled āEasy,ā an open-hearted ballad about experiencing true love for the first time from a significant other. The cut opens with a moment of truth from Cabelloās beloved, who, despite her personal insecurities, thinks sheās perfect just the way she is.
āYou really, really know me/ The future and the old me/ All of the mazes and the madness in my mind,ā Cabello serenades her sweetheart as the tune approaches the touching chorus: āAlways thought I was hard to love/ āTil you made it seem so easy.ā
As any Camilizer will tell you, āEasyā sounds to be about her boyfriend Shawn Mendes. Cabello confessed as much about having written songs about the āLost in Japanā crooner on her new album during an interview on the British talk show Lorraine this week. "Iām so happy. Iāve known him for such a long time and I donāt know, he just feels like home to me," she said of her BF during the interview. (FYI: "Shawmila" officially became a thing this summer after the stars debuted their latest collaboration āSeƱorita.ā)
āEasyā is the fourth track to be released from the songbirdās forthcoming sophomore effort, Romance, after āCry for Me,ā āShameless,ā and āLiar.ā
In related news, Cabello has been billed to perform at theĀ 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One, kicking off on December 1 in Tampa, Florida, and will continue across the US throughout December including Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.
