Niall Horan Reintroduces Himself with New Song "Nice To Meet Ya"

Niall Horan has finally returned with new music! The singer/songwriter has officially shared his brand new single "Nice To Meet Ya" — the first taste of his highly anticipated forthcoming sophomore album.

"Nice to Meet Ya" follows Horan's 2017 debut solo album Flicker, and was co-written by Niall, his longtime collaborator Julian Bunetta, Tobias Jesso, Jr. and Ruth-Anne Cunningham. True to its title, the song is all about meeting someone, as Niall sings, "I like the way you talk/I like the things you wear/ I want your number tattooed on my arm in ink I swear/ Cause when the morning comes, I know you won't be there/ Every time I turn around, you disappear."

In statement Niall explains of his brand new single, "It's been nearly tow years since I released Flicker and I can't wait to get going again. Writing 'Nice To Meet Ya,' in particular, was a special one for me and I'm so excited to finally share it with everyone."

Along with the release of "Nice to Meet Ya" is the song's official music video. Directed by The Young Astronauts, in the visual, we see all of the events leading up to the moment he meets a girl at a bar.

In teasing "Nice to Meet Ya," Niall shared the song's lyrics ahead of the its official release and asked his fans to come up with videos showcasing what they think it sounds like, and the results were pretty impressive! Fans submitted themselves singing the song to their own melodies, and a few different versions even managed to catch Horan's eye (or ear in this case?).
