So, The Emmy's were last night and incase you may have missed it I'm going to break down my top three moments you need to know.
1) Billy Porter - He is the first openly gay, black man to win Lead Actor in A Drama, for his role in the series Pose. He said, "We have the power to create empathy through the way we tell stories. I know that being black and gay and out and being in this position and speaking from where I get to speak form is the change."
I got meet him last night and wow, what a delight he is. SO beyond wondering, humble and lovey. Such a MAJOR moment for Billy.
2) Sophie Turner - People may have been wondering where Joe Jonas was to accompany his girl. Well, I'm here to remind you The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour and had a show last night in Kansas City. Hence was Sophie was SANS Joe.
But, he did post the CUTEST Instagram story saying, "I am so proud of you. You are nominated for an Emmy. You are incredible. I love you."
3) Fleabag - A big surprise winner last night, so the question is will Phoebe Waller-Bridge make a season three? I'm here to tell you it's a no. Phoebe has said, "I have thought about it and there isn't going to be one. This is it - this is the final curtain."
But, I love this idea. She said she does have a fantasy of bringing her back when she's like 45 or 50. She went on the biggest journey over the past two season starting out as someone who hated herself and ended up as someone believing she could love and forgive herself.
