Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s renewed friendship after feuding for several years is one of entertainment’s feel good stories of the year.
While their bond has obviously been a weight off their shoulders, Katy revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show they also did it for the sake of their fans.
She says, “We have such big groups of people that like to follow us, so they kinda started turning against each other as well...I’m all about redemption and forgiveness and for setting an example for those younger people...that it can be cool to ask for forgiveness and confront someone you may have an issue with."
