Fletcher’s single "Undrunk" has catapulted her into pop stardom, even though the song is much more raw, awkward and vulnerable lyrically than the average hit pop song.
This is fitting for Fletcher’s breakout single, because she herself doesn’t feel like she fits into any polished popstar mold.
"I am not perfect," she tells Harper's Bazaar. "I'm going to make so many mistakes, I'm going to say s--t that I didn't mean to say, I'm going to trip on a red carpet. I'm a hot mess, in my life as a person, so I'm going to be that way as an artist. I'm not going to put on any façade or any act for anybody."
Well, that will be on full display this weekend at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Fletcher was originally only scheduled for the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but she’s an alum of Taco Bell’s Feed the Beat, which helps feed up and coming musicians.
So Taco Bell is bringing her on the main stage to perform her hit “Undrunk” on Friday night.
