IT Chapter Two is finally here, two years after the first hit installment terrified movie goers, but 27 years after the events in the first movie.
That’s because Pennywise, the creepy clown at the center of the story, comes out of hibernation to feed every 27 years and he’s back haunting the same kids who are now adults.
One character, Richie, is played by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard in the first movie and Bill Hader in Chapter Two.
According to Bill, he basically has Finn to thank for landing the role.
He tells Jimmy Fallon: "The film’s producers asked Finn 'Who do you want to play you in the sequel?', because they all grow up, he said he wanted me to. So my agent sent me a little clip of him saying that, and I was like, 'Oh, that's sweet' and didn’t think anything more of it. And then, like three months later they were like, 'Hey, you got a meeting to meet with the director of IT.' And I was like, 'This Finn kid's like super powerful!"
