Brad Pitt is getting Oscar buzz for not one, but two films this year!
His turn as a stuntman in Quentin Tarantinoโs Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and a spaceman in the upcoming sci-fi flick, Ad Astra.
But Brad isnโt the type of guy to worry too much about nominations or putting too much weight into who makes the cut and who doesnโt.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter:
"I see amazing talent getting acknowledged and amazing talent getting ignored. When your number comes up, it's fun. When someone else's number comes up, it's usually one of your friends, so it's fun too."
For now, he adds, "I just want to get Ad Astra out โ it is a challenging film. It is subtle, it's operating on many cylinders ... I'm just curious to see how it lands."
It hits theaters September 20th.
