As Kelly Clarkson gears up for the launch of her new NBC talk show, she revealed she dealt with a pretty serious recent health scare, appendicitis, but turns out only a week later she faced another medical emergency. A burst cyst in the middle of shooting The Voice.
She tells People magazine:
"Blake [Shelton] was talking to me and all of the sudden, everything he said just went away and I had to grab his arm and I was like, 'Something is wrong.'"
"It was literally a week after my surgery so I was freaking out," she says. "I was hysterically laughing and crying at one point in the E.R. like 'What is happening?'"
Thankfully Kelly recovered fully and is back in prep mode for the Kelly Clarkson Show, which debuts on September 9th.
