Woodstock 50 Suffers Another Setback Less Than a Month From Opening Night

With less than a month to go before Woodstock 50 is scheduled to go down in Vernon Downs, New York the organizers were just dealt another major setback.

For the fourth time the city of Vernon has denied their permit application citing their safety plan worries about the venue’s capacity and the region’s ability to accommodate 60,000 campers as their main concerns.

The saga of the festival’s organizers to keep the concert, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock has been incredible.

Along the way they have lost their original financiers, original venue and faced countless hurdles, but still refuse to cancel the event against all odds.

The lineup is stacked with Jay-Z, Halsey, Miley Cyrus and tons of classic rock legends. So if they can pull it all together in time it might be one for ages, but the clock is seriously ticking.
