Pink Triggers 'Parenting Police' With Photo Of Unsupervised Daughter Willow

Pink Honored With Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Pink has had it up to here with the party-pooping “parenting police.”

The pop star gave trolls a taste of their own medicine this week when she shared yet another photo of her children, much to the displeasure of her notorious mom-shamers. On Wednesday (July 10),the “Glitter in the Air” musician took to Facebook with an image of her 8-year-old daughter, Willow, running through sprinklers with a friend on a hot sunny day.

“Here’s a picture of my child running through water. It wasn’t even filtered. What a waste of water,” Pink wrote in the caption, before poking fun at the cautionary comments to come. “And no helmet? I hope she had sunscreen. If she slips and falls she may be traumatized for life.”

Worst of all, the singer jokingly admits she “wasn’t even there,” quipping, “I was..... gasp.... working!!!! In another country!” Oh no!

If you’ve been following Pink’s posts on social media, you know some fans have been critical of her parenting skills — and the mother of two has firmly put them in their place each time. It was actually just yesterday the songstress was shamed again for bringing her son Jameson to the zoo, and months prior for sharing a shot that seemingly showed the 2-year-old without a diaper.

The latter controversy, the 37-year-old admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April, caused her to refrain from showing her kids on social media. "People went as far as saying, 'Someone should call Child Services,'" she recalled. "I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. ... I'm prouder of my kids than anything I've ever done and I just won't share them anymore. I won't do it."
