The true story of Sandra Bullock’s coming of age is coming to television, almost.
The Academy Award winner is developing a show for Amazon, loosely based on her own time as a college student in the deep south in the 80s.
It will actually be a musical dramedy with song and dance interwoven into the story. So she recruited a friend of hers to help produce the show and curate the music, John Legend.
While the show is in the early stages of development, considering her first foray into streaming content with the Netflix movie Birdbox was a huge smash, this untitled project will likely go to full production soon.
