Ashley Iaconetti Admits To Cheating On Kevin Wendt With Jared Haibon

Ashely Iaconetti was finally ready to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about her love triangle with Kevin Wendt and Jared Haibon, after Kevin called her out on Bachelor in Paradise on Monday(August 6).

“When Ashley and I left Winter Games, I knew I wanted to marry her one day,” he explained on the show. “And then all of a sudden Jared flips the switch and now he wants to be with her. I did try to make it work, but if you kiss another guy while you’re dating someone else, that’s cheating in my book. That really hurt me."

While Ashley has previously admitted to kissing Jared while she was with Kevin, who she met on the Bachelor Winter Games, she finally used the word "cheating" to explain what went down between them.

“I was dating Kevin like out in the real world for two weeks and Jared came out about his feelings and he kissed me in the airport,” Ashley said on her show The Ben & Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast on Thursday (August 9).

"Whether you call that cheating that is up to you, by most definitions that is true," she continued. "But, it was one of the moments of passion, one of those actions — he pulled me in, I kissed him back. I never kissed him again until Kevin and I broke up after my birthday on March 6.”

Ashley added, "When [Jared] pulled me in the second time, I said, ‘I shouldn’t have done that.'”

While the former BIP star said she felt guilty about the second kiss, she admitted that she doesn't regret how everything went down. And she especially doesn't regret dating Kevin.

“I could not have been here if it weren’t for meeting Kevin,” Ashley said before explaining that Jared needed to see her with Kevin to give him the "push" he needed to fight for her. “Jared even says, ‘Hey if it weren’t for him who knew how long it would have taken.' I’m forever grateful [for Kevin].”

Ashley and Jared met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2015. After years of the two not being on the same page about their relationship, they finally started dating in March 2018. Less than three months later, the couple got engaged in Mexico.
