Disney's California Adventure Replacing 'Bugs Life' With Marvel Attractions

It's not a great day to be a bug, but it's a REALLY good day to be a superhero.

Disney has announced that the Bug's Life attractions at California Adventure will be removed in order to make room for more Marvel-themed attractions!

The placement of removing the bug themed attractions makes sense with their proximity to the already existing Guardians of the Galaxy ride, which took place of Tower of Terror.

And it's not only California Adventure that is making the big switch!

In addition to the Anaheim park, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong will add attractions featuring the likes of the Avengers, Spider-Man, Ant-Man and other Marvel stars.

Just imagine the possibilities!

And see juuust how the people of the internet are feeling about the change:

As much as I love A Bug's Land for how adorable it is, I do think it was time for California Adventure to revamp the area, because it was pretty a much a walk-through attraction.

California Adventure is also completely redoing the pier area to become Pixar-focused attractions. So the next time you head out to Anaheim to hit up Disneyland and California Adventure, you're probably going to see a lot of new things.

Does this mean lines are going to get even longer? Or that there will be even more rides people want to wait for and the lines will actually shorten at some of the bigger rides like Soarin' Over The World and the Guardians ride.

Woo hoo!!
