Avoid Catching The Flu On A Flight By Sitting In This Seat

We all know it's easy to get sick when you've been traveling and sharing air and space with people for however many hours your flight is.

So how do you manage to stay healthy when you have to travel for something? Apparently there is a trick to staying healthy while (and after) you fly!

Just sit in a window seat.

And the thing that will drive you nuts? Experts have been saying this for years!

There has been some research on where the least germs, and best airflow, on an airplane are and it seems sitting in the window seat will keep passengers away from the infectious people sitting in the aisle seats or moving throughout the cabin.

And the way they did this research was amazing! The researchers hopped on planes and traveled all over the world, testing cabin surfaces and the air for germs. They also observed how people came in contact with each other.

The only slight problem with the research is that the researchers only came across one person coughing total on their ten flights, so they may have just been on abnormally healthy flights, and may not have tested germs of the average plane.

However, there are several people who definitely believe you're best off sitting in the window seat, AND that's usually the most comfortable place in a plane anyway! So I'll keep on sitting in the window seat as often as I can.

I think the only flights I'll be on for the next couple of months, with these babies arriving soon, is heading to and from New York City for LIVE with Kelly and Ryan! So if I can switch my seat to a window seat, I am IN!

Don't want to get sick for the show, and definitely don't want to get sick in these final couple weeks of pregnancy!
