You guys have all been following along with my pregnancy, so you know just how real things are getting for me!
And this weekend was another big step in the "oh wow this is happening" journey - I gave my husband Michael the task of putting the waterproof mattress protector on our bed while I was at my (final) baby shower!
In true Michael fashion, we took a time lapse video of the whole thing, and I didn't realize how complicated the process would be!!

You might be wondering why we have a waterproof mattress protector now, right?
Well, we were advised that it's good to have because my water could break while we are in bed, and once the babies are here, they could pee or throw up in our bed!
I'm getting close to the point where my water could really break any day now, so it's good that we're feeling prepared. The nursery is done (except for some organizing) and now our bedroom is ready as well.
And no, we won't have them sleeping with us, but if I'm in bed with them during some down time, there's allllways the possibility of them throwing up.
It's becoming more and more common for pregnant women to put a waterproof mattress protector on their bed because mattresses are really expensive, and if you have the option of protecting it, then of course it's worth it!
So now our mattress is protected AND all three of my baby showers are complete!
