Married Pairs Skating Team Competed In The Olympics On Valentine's Day

Romance was in the air at the ice rink in PyeongChang for the 2018 Olympics because married couple and USA pairs skating team, Alexa Scimeca Knierim and Chris Knierim, got to complete on Valentine's Day.

These two-time U.S. national champs already have a bronze medal from competing with Team USA for the team event in both the short and long programs, but in their competition last on Valentine's Day for the pair's short program, they were considered underdogs.

SO the Knierim's didn't come in the top 3 of the night, but they did celebrate being on the Olympic ice for Valentine's Day.

Alexa told NBC after their skate: “We were soaking it in... We promised we would be present every single second."

Chris also said he whispered “great job and Happy Valentine’s Day” to his wife after they finished their skate.

SO CUTE.

The couple started skating together back in 2012 and got married in 2016 so this is a love story I am HERE for!
