Our favorite internet sensation-turned-songstress Sophia Grace is back with a new single that is not only catchy, but also powerful. The 14-year-old, who rose to fame after being discovered by Ellen DeGeneres, has shared the new track, titled “Why U Mad?”, exclusively with On Air With Ryan Seacrest.

In the song, Sophia tackles online bullying, an issue she’s personally dealt with.

“Having been in the spotlight since I was very young, I know all about the negative comments and abuse you get from people online,” the songstress shares. “‘Why U Mad’ is my message to those people, and to anyone who’s experienced anything similar - Hold your head up high, be proud of who you are, and don’t let the bullies get you down.”

The video was directed and choreographed by Frank Gatson Jr. (who has also worked with -- ahem! --Beyoncé!) and the song was written and produced by the London production team Da Beat Freakz, whose credits include Sean Paul, Usher and Kat Deluna.
