Do you love coffee in the mornings but want to avoid that mid-day slump? Ryan Seacrest shared in today's hack if you’re looking to extend the buzz you get from your morning coffee, skip the second cup and try eating grapefruit instead.

According to research, eating grapefruit (or drinking grapefruit juice) increases the time caffeine remains in your system.

And while these aren't usually on the breakfast menu, the study showed cabbage, broccoli, and brussels sprouts clear caffeine out of your system quicker, so avoid those!
