Did you know that your car can still get stolen even if your keys are in your house?
If you're using a key fob, you can unlock your car without using the key directly as long as you're nearby the door and then start the car.
There are actually videos online of thieves who are using a device to amplify signals from the fob inside the house to steal the car!
So to prevent this from happening, this is where you should keep the key fob:
FAR AWAY FROM THE FRONT DOOR or INSIDE A METAL BOX
If you hang it near your door, keep it in your bedroom or inside something that can hinder any signals.
