The next Seacrest Studio is coming to Memphis, Tennessee, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital! Ryan Seacrest and his sister, Meredith Seacrest Leach, made the exciting announcement on-air on Tuesday, September 13.
The Ryan Seacrest Foundation has already opened 11 Seacrest Studios around the country in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Nashville, Orange County, Orlando, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. As previously shared, an additional new studio is scheduled to open next year in Queens, NY.
The 1,275 square foot studio is scheduled to open on the main lobby level of Le Bonheur Children's in 2023. Patients will have the opportunity to explore radio and television, host their own shows, play games and interview special guests!
Meredith, who serves as the Executive Director & COO for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, shared the studios offer patients a chance to escape their everyday reality in the hospitals.
"Overall we get feedback that kids end up not wanting to leave the hospital … because they’re having so much fun," Meredith shared on-air. "… I just hear stories like that or that kids go home after visiting the hospital and they’re sharing positive stories because of their experiences versus sad stories and parents just saying they’re finally seeing their kids smile."
