The Top “Big Game” Foods Ranked

Well, it’s that time of year again. The "Big Game" is around the corner on February 7th. Make sure to have your antacid and lactaid at the ready. It’s T-minus 6 days until we are cheering on our favorite teams with a beverage in one hand and favorite snack in the other.

This is a summary of the most popular snacks and foods to have at the ready. Fun Fact, Americans are expected to eat 1.42 BILLION chicken wings on the big day. Seacrest will be contributing to that number. His flavor of choice is Spicy Buffalo Wings.

Door Dash released their Game Day Food Trend report on Jan. 26, revealing the eating habits of Americans during football Sundays from the period of Sept. 13, 2020 through Jan. 10, 2021. The data was compiled using a national general population survey of 1,000 Americans and captures both the top snack picks by state and nationwide. Here’s our summary of Door Dash’s “Big Game” foods ranked.

Mozzarella sticks are #1 on the list with a side of marinara sauce. I mean, who doesn't love fried cheese?! If you’re lactose intolerant... these might be worth it! Boneless wings came up second. #3 are chips and salsa, a classic. Seacrest will of course have some guac to accompany them. Caesar salads got a spot on the list at #4. I suppose we need to feel like we're being healthy. Fried pickles ranked at #6 on the list. Obviously, there is a strong subculture that's into these. As Seacrest would say, "there's nothing about fried pickles that excites me." Philly cheese steaks came in at #8. This is when everyone's mouth started to water. Did your favorite food make the list?
