Tips on How to Reduce 2020 Election Anxiety

2020 has been a stressful year and we’ve now added a nail-biter of an election on top of it. Tanya Rad shared on-air with Ryan Seacrest and Sisanie she learned a few helpful stress-relievers from actress Emma Stone.

As of the morning of November 4, neither President Donald Trump nor Democratic nominee Joe Biden had claimed the 270 Electoral College votes needed for the general election win.

While Seacrest shared he roasted chestnuts which helped ease his anxiety, Stone’s tips are also readily available for you to try.

For starters, Emma swears by reading, meditation and what she calls a “brain dump.”

"I write down anything that I'm worried about — I just write and write and write," she explained. "I don't think about it, I don't read it back, and I usually do this before bed so [these worries or anxieties] don't interfere with my sleep. I find it's really helpful for me to just get it all out on paper."

Another helpful tip? Turn up your radio or the iHeartRadio app and just dance it out.

“Blasting music, and just getting [the stress] out," she added. "Any exercise at all really seems to help me, but dance is my very favorite.
