Randy Jackson Takes His Old Job Back

Randy Jackson has a new old job and no, he’s not returning to American Idol. The former judge has agreed to pick up the 4-string and play bass for legendary 80s rock group Journey.

Randy had previously played for the group in the mid to late 80s, including the studio work for their 1986 album Raised on Radio.

Grammy winning drummer and legendary jazz and rock drummer Narada Michael Walden has also been recruited for Journey’s new lineup.

The band was originally supposed to be on the road this summer but has obviously delayed that tour so they may begin work on new material in the meantime and expect Randy to be a part of it!
