Meghan Trainor Teases Britney Spears Cover for #iHeartFirstResponders

Meghan Trainor is joining Ryan Seacrest for this week's iHeartRadio First Responder Fridays with FirstNet built with AT&T tonight, April 24th, at 7pm ET on iHeartRadio's YouTube channel and Facebook page. Meghan shared with Seacrest via Zoom on-air that she’s brought her ukulele out to prepare.

“I learned as many songs as I could on my ukulele since I don’t have my band and my fingers are so little that they work really well with the ukulele,” she shared. “I recently just leaned ’NO’ on my ukulele and of course I know how to do play ‘Bass’ because that’s how I auditioned with it so I’m doing ‘Bass,’ I’m doing ‘NO,’ and I’m doing ‘Wave’ from my new album and then I’m doing a cover of Britney Spears,” she teased. “I’m going to attempt to do ‘Lucky.’ It’s very hard to sing.”

The Treat Myself songstress has also been channeling her inner YouTube star during quarantine, but musically she feels pressured with all the creativity flowing during quarantine.

“I straight up have writers block!” Meghan admitted. “I’ve been trying to finish my Christmas album and like write a children’s book and do as many creative things that I can and yesterday I filmed a makeup tutorial and guys, I might be a YouTuber!” she jokingly concluded. “I was like, ‘Oh! this is fun!’”
