SZA, Normani and Megan Thee Stallion all grace the cover of Rolling Stone for their Women Shaping the Future issue.
But at least for SZA, it may be last cover shoot because she’s just sworn off doing press. Soon after the cover was released on the internet, she tweeted:
"I’m not doing any videos, interviews or photos for the rest of my life. Don’t ask."
After speculation began that the three artists’ cover shoot was problematic, SZA squashed the rumor in her next tweet, writing:
"Shout out to Normani and Meg. My sisters who I love very much and respect deeply. I’m honored to be a part of anything with those two."
She later hinted that the issue has more to do with her own anxiety brought on by personal thoughts rather than any outside issue.
She really summed up where and how she wants to spend her career sharing a picture of the recoding studio she was in, captioned: "Where I belong."
Her next album is expected later this year.
