Alessia Cara is set to have a very big and busy night on March 15th because not only is she hosting Canada’s answer to The Grammys, The Juno Awards, it was just announced she is also leading the pack with the most nominations overall.
The Ontario-born-and-raised singer is up for 6 trophies including Album and Artist of the Year.
While Alessia’s won Grammys in the past including Best New Artist, these nods mean more to her because of her Canadian roots, "There’s nothing like being supported by your own country," she tells the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
She will be fighting for the Artist of the Year prize against Shawn Mendes, Torey Lanez, Jessie Reyez and Bryan Adams.
