YouTube has unveiled their list of the most watched videos in the states for the calendar year and it’s a hip-hop heavy list with a little country seasoning.
What is billed as the "official movie" of Lil Nas X’s "Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus starts us off at #5.
Polo G and Lil Tjay nabbed #4 with "Pop Out," while at #3 it was Yo Gotti and Lil Baby’s “Put a Date on It.”
It was a breakout year for DaBaby and his status at #2 with “Suge” certainly proves that.
And lastly, there’s an interesting twist at #1.
Lil Nas X, who started the list at #5 with the official movie for “Old Town Road’ is on top with the “Old Town Road” remix also featuring Billy Ray.
That video is right around a half billion views and counting.
