There have been a lot of breakup jams over the years that singers and songwriters have famously written about failed relationships with celebrities.
Some of them are thinly veiled and fairly obvious, while with other songs it’s harder to pin down exactly who’s being sung about.
But it appears that The Weeknd is going in a very different and blunt direction with his new song and who it’s about, his ex Selena Gomez.
He just registered a new composition with his publishing company called "Like Selena."
While that’s all we know for now, it seems like a safe bet in one way or another it’s about their 10-month relationship.
We should know more soon as his album is rumored to arrive in December.
